This lamp is designed to work with remote capable emergency lighting units (sold separately) and does not have its own individual power source. Compatible lighting units must have a 3.6V-9.6V battery.

5.0we purchased multiple of these in case of power outages. this way we can still see to get down our stairs and to gather the kids where ever they may be at that time if needed. these are great. I was worried the singles may not be enough for some areas but they thankfully are bright enough.
