Product Features

Rid your restaurant or other foodservice operation of flying pests with the Lavex Zap N Trap black insect trap wall sconce with 2 glue boards! This unit provides exceptional pest control in an average 900 sq. ft. area! Featuring 2 long-lasting 8W LED bulbs, this unit will draw pesky insects into the housing where they're collected on the removable glue board for highly effective, sanitary insect control. With a sleek trapezoidal design, this trap features a durable iron construction and a classic black color to add a modern flair while providing top-of-the-line insect control for your establishment. The coverage area depends on the layout of the room, how often the door is open, how much traffic the area receives, and the number of insects in the area.

For best results, do not place the zapper in an area with bright lighting as other light sources will draw the bugs' attention. In public areas, placing the lights just above eye level will ensure that customers do not see dead insects stuck to the glue board. The LED bulb lasts over a year, making it more efficient than traditional fluorescent bulbs. Plus, the bulb contains a chemical coating to help protect the user's eyes. This item also comes with 2 glue boards for convenience. Glue boards should be replaced every 30 days.

For the safety of your patrons and employees, this unit uses ultraviolet light rather than chemicals to lure and trap insects. The replaceable adhesive panels catch flies, moths, mosquitoes, and other flying insects without the buzz, hum, and crackling of traditional insect traps. The trap can be installed quickly with simple hand tools. A 120V electrical connection is required for operation. When you need insect control that's safe for use around food or any other location where protection against disease and bacteria is an absolute must, look no further than this Lavex Zap N Trap insect trap wall sconce!

Frequently Asked Questions

Read all FAQs

Most bug zappers and light traps list a coverage area in square footage, which can serve as a good guideline, but it’s also important to think about placement. The best way to maximize the effectiveness of your unit is to set the trap strategically in a highly visible location so that the light can be seen from multiple angles.
