The insects are collected in an easy-glide tray that simply pulls out for quick emptying. This eliminates an unsightly buildup of bug remains on your floor or counter and keeps your establishment clean, sanitary, and bug-free! The LED bulbs last over a year, making them more efficient than traditional fluorescent bulbs. Plus, each bulb contains a chemical coating to help protect the user's eyes.
This Lavex Zap N Trap bug zapper has a slim design that allows you to easily mount it to a wall while conserving valuable space in your business. It features a removable plug and stainless steel housing for easy cleaning, along with a built-in micro switch to ensure safe access during bulb replacement. In addition to making this zapper easier to maintain, the removable collection tray also acts as a safety feature by preventing the unit from being turned on until it is locked in place.
For best results, do not place the zapper in an area with bright lighting, as other light sources will draw the bugs' attention. Although this unit is not recommended for use in food prep areas, it's a perfect solution for entryways, loading docks, and other areas where pests can be a problem. The unit's coverage area may vary depending on the layout of the room, how often the door is open, how much traffic the area receives, and the number of insects in the area. This bug zapper requires a 120V electrical connection for operation. It should be emptied and cleaned every 1-3 weeks (see instructions for maintenance tips).
