WebstaurantStore Customer Review

Excellent product! Of course it doesn’t “Zap” the bugs…that Stone Age technology was abandoned long ago. The unit attracts bugs, then paralyzes them as they fall into the glue board. Silent and efficient. After a month is is shocking to see how many dead bugs there are on the glue board.

Discrete and Effective

Unlike some other bug traps, this glue board unit does not produce a loud "zapping" noise. This makes it easy to discreetly use this product in areas where customers or patrons are within earshot. For best results, do not place the zapper in an area with bright lighting, as other light sources will draw the bugs' attention. In public areas, placing the lights just above eye level will ensure that customers do not see dead insects stuck to the glue board.

Attractive White Finish

This unit has an attractive white powder-coated finish that will subtly blend into any color scheme. This finish also provides an industrial look and feel perfect for your businesses' professional environment.

Easy to Mount

This trap also comes with a chain and mounting hardware, allowing you to easily install it wherever you choose. The combination of this hardware and its already compact construction makes this product very unobtrusive.

Easily Draw In Pests

Each 15W UV bulb contains a chemical coating that maximizes the amount of UV light it transmits. To maintain the bulb's coating and the trap's optimum effectiveness, replace bulbs every 9-12 months, ideally at the beginning of Spring.

Safe and Chemical-Free

Some bug zappers can contain potentially toxic chemicals, making them a threat to health and sanitation codes in hygiene-sensitive areas. However, this unit features a large, chemical-free glue board that collects bugs and can easily be removed and replaced. Plus, it meets the FDA and USDA guidelines and is safe for use in food prep or other hygiene-sensitive areas. Glue boards should be replaced every 30 days.

Space-Efficient Design

Measuring a mere 18 3/4" x 3 3/4" x 11", this space-saving item is perfect for small or crowded areas. Its slim design also allows you to easily mount it to any wall, therefore conserving valuable space in your business.

Large Coverage Area

This unit provides insect control over an average 500sq. ft. area in your store, warehouse, or office. This coverage area may vary depending on the layout of your room, how often the door is open, how much traffic the area receives, and the number of insects in the area. It features a maximum range of 10,000 ft., depending on how and where it is deployed.

Works great until you need a new starter to make the bulbs light up. They are impossible to find and webstaurant does not have them available.

Frequently Asked Questions

Read all FAQs

Most bug zappers and light traps list a coverage area in square footage, which can serve as a good guideline, but it’s also important to think about placement. The best way to maximize the effectiveness of your unit is to set the trap strategically in a highly visible location so that the light can be seen from multiple angles.
