This Lavex brushroll is a direct replacement for the one that came with your 15" dual motor vacuum. The brushroll uses bristles to pull stubborn dirt off of the floor and direct it up into the vacuum for disposal. Over time the bristles may wear down and the part may need replaced so inspect it regularly and replace if needed to ensure that your vacuum cleans properly.
